Isn''t it?

That is so true. Shoots and timetables are becoming harder to keep up with, but it''s alfun at the end of the day.

Why aren''t you looking at an entry into films?

You know, frankly films are something I love to watch and enjoy.
1x1 polls
I don''t really know if I see myself as part of the silver screen for now. Television for that matter, just happened. I did the series Kya Haadsaa Kya Haqeequat, which was to be aired for two months. At that time I thought if I was bad, people would have to bear me for just two months. I wouldn''t want to be labelled a modeturned bad actor.

But the series did well!

Yes, in fact that encouraged me. The fact that people liked it, made it wonderful. It was only after that, that Jassi happened.

Interestingly enough, you didn''t do too many music videos?

That''s right. You know, honestly I can be quite lazy at times. Given a choice I''d probably want to do nothing. But on this front I did a couple. I''ve done a video for Alka Yagnik. But then again I was always more into doing live shows and hosting programmes.

So, the way it sounds television and modelling wasn''t on the cards?

Not really. I did my video film-making course at Xaviers and I wanted to be a journalist. This came my way and I just grabbed it! I''d love to get into production now, direction too at some stage. But I feethat territory is a little too soon to venture into. So I''l wait a while on that front.

You''re into a lot of television presentations. You love to talk a lot...

That''s a gift. I did the IIFA Awards presentation and also the one for Lakme India Fashion Week. Recently, I was in Chandigarh for a car rally, compering a show. The fun part was that there were about eighteen drivers there, trying to teach me to drive a race car. It was interesting because I can''t even drive and here I was in a speeding car. That''s the excitement that drives me to do ''Live'' shows.

Amidst being a compere, a modeand a television face, which one is most gratifying?

As a model, one enjoys because people look up to you. The way you carry yourself is phenomenal. As a compere, you have to be on your toes. You can never have a smooth ''Live'' show, you really need to be sharp.

In television, one learns that acting is more about reacting. So half your work is done by your co-stars. They alhave a charm of their own.
